Hi Bill,
I'm sorry to hear that. What sort of error do you receive when you try to import the new CSV?

I get the "whoops"error...

Hi Bill,
I'm sorry to hear that. Can you please provide the two spreadsheets you've tried importing so we can compare the two and pinpoint the problem? Thanks!

I am getting this whoops error as well.
I downloaded my product csv file and tried to add a product to the bottom and i get Whoops.. I tried with and without SKUs... This is the first time I have tried it and it hasn't worked.. is there a trick I don't know?

Hi Catherine,
We're sorry to hear that. Could you please send us the spreadsheet you're trying to use? We'll take a closer look.

I'm getting the same error as well. I have been trying with both CSV format and Excel-format, but I do get the whoops error no matter. I sent you files a few days ago.

Could you guys really fix the problem so this thread can quit growing? I was having trouble with the notorious "Whoops" issue, so I decided to export all my existing products...
so that I could use that export spreadsheet as an import spreadsheet.
-Deleted all the products except for the top 3, -changed their sku's and product names so they wouldn't interfere with existing products -renamed the spreadsheet -and tried to re-upload your very own export spreadsheet as an import ...didn't help at all. Still got the "whoops" error.
Thought it might be an issue of needing to save it as a "Windows CSV" in Excel (since I'm on a Mac)...that didn't help either.
Please help. Manual individual uploads are a pain.
Thanks!

Hi Scott,
An earlier bug was resolved on April 19th, so I'm afraid this is a separate issue. Our developers are working to pinpoint the problem and we appreciate your patience in the meantime.
We'll keep this thread updated with our progress!

Can I send you a spreadsheet in the meantime and have you guys upload it like you've done for others who've had the same problem?

Hi Scott,
I'm afraid we aren't able to do that but our team is looking into this issue now.
Thanks,
Heather

Maybe if it is easier you should work on a copy function! :)

Hi all,
1) The importing issue should now be resolved.
2) Copy is on the way very soon :)

I am still having the "whoops" error when trying to upload products. I am user browser Safari.

Hi LeAnna,
We're sorry to hear that. Could you please send us the file you're trying to import?

Well the csv upload works but also removes all the existing image links so now I have no product photos. Great!

Hi, Is this likely to be resolved soon or should I set aside the day to manually upload my photos again so I can put my website back online?

Hi Catherine,
We're so sorry to hear that. Could you please provide a few more details about this issue? Did your import contain image links and did previously uploaded products lose images too?
