Although there are limited directions for connecting my website to Facebook, when I click on "external links", I have no option for it. There is no blue button on the page to click. In fact, I get an http 404 error code in the middle section box on the page. Please advise. This is one of the main reasons I am utilizing Goodsie.

    Hi,

We're sorry to hear that. The Facebook option is currently working on our end at http://goodsie.com/admin/external/facebook. Could you please provide details about your web browser (brand and version) and a screenshot of the issue you're seeing?

I have used both internet explorer and Google Chrome. I have a screen shot from the google chrome. Hopefully, I can upload that here to you. BTW, I was able to click on the hyperlink you sent me and give permission for Goodsie to interact with my FB Account. However, there is nothing showing up in my store. Please help!

    Hi,

Are you able to select Facebook in the Manage dropdown menu? I've attached a screenshot to illustrate this option. Please let us know if you run into any issues authorization your Facebook Page.

The Embed isn't working properly right now because your custom domain is pointing to an outside website. If you'd like to setup a custom domain, please follow our help article instructions at http://help.goodsie.com/kb/quick-answers/how-do-i-set-up-a-custom-d....

    Thanks,
    Katie

Katie, Thank you for your help thus far. I did get it all to integrate. Went to my domain provider and had the domain forwarded to the appropriate place. It was (emphasize WAS) working on Facebook. Now it is not. Extremely frustrated. Please go to my page and let me know what to do.

In regard to your question above, when I click on Manage Facebook from the toolbar, the screen changes and it is blank except for the normal Goodsie page footer

I just logged onto my domain provider and again, the domain fowarding is correct and precise. Was working earlier today. Now not. Not sure what is causing this?

Update: Wednesday morning ~ My domain seems to be pointing to my Goodsie website now. Hopefully, that continues. Still, not showing up in the store tab/module of the facebook page. I have some meetings to attend today. Can you please work on fixing this? Or, let me know if there is something I have not done right or set right.

Your domain is up and running well for us at http://www.indigobluedragonfly.com/. Please feel free to send us a screenshot of your DNS settings if you'd like us to double-check your setup.

I've attached a screenshot of what displays for me within your account at http://goodsie.com/admin/external/facebook. If you're still seeing a blank page at that URL, could you please send us a link to your Facebook Page along with details on the browser you're running (brand and version)?

    Thanks,
    Katie

okay, we are making some progress. Here is what I can report:

Works fine in Google Chrome browser - everything showing up. Check out cart, etc doing fine.

On Android Tablet - Store page on FB initially shows up for a couple of seconds, then blanks out.

Internet explorer - Tried on 2 different computers on the facebook page. Go to Best World Costumes by Indigo Blue Dragonfly on Facebook.

One computer running IE 8 gave warning before to agree to unsecure content prior to being able to see the page. Once on FB Store page, would not allow me to add an item to the cart until I unblocked third party cookies which is a problem because most IE Security settings block 3rd party cookies.

Other computer running IE 7something, won't display store page on facebook at all.

More progress made. FB Store Page now displaying on computer running IE 7? However, still cannot add anything to cart. Pop up block says you need to disable third party cookies, yet gives no instructions to do so. This could be a problem with many shoppers who do not know how to do this.

Android Tablet - still blank page when clicking on store in FB

Thank you though, we are making progress!

    Hi,

I believe that issue is stemming from your custom domain setup unfortunately. Could you please send us a screenshot of your DNS settings so we can double-check them?

For the Android Tablet, could you please send us a screenshot of the issue, the device's name, OS version, and browser details? This will be helpful for our team to investigate.

    Thanks,
    Katie

First, I am not sure where you are wanting me to get the screenshot for the domain settings. Are you wanting it from Goodsie or my provider. I am assuming my provider. That is attached.

2nd: Regarding the Android Tablet, I don't know the answers to those questions. It is an Acer Iconia 500 tablet. I will try to find the other info out. I know of know way to do a screenshot on the Andriod Tablet.

    Hi,

Apologies for the confusion. We'll need to double-check the Records in your Zone File Editor within Godaddy. Could you please send us a screenshot of your settings there?

    Thanks,
    Katie
