How does Goodsie protect the security and privacy of my customers? I get that Authorize.net handles the payment security, but how does the basic customer info (name, address, email address, etc.) flow to them and how does Goodsie keep my customer's info separate from the other Goodsie powered stores and safe from others that might want that info?

    Hi Eric,

The information entered on the checkout page is sent via HTTPS to keep data secure, and Authorize.net uses 128-bit SSL to transfer the data. You can learn more about the payment processor's security measures at http://www.authorize.net/solutions/merchantsolutions/merchantservic.... Please let us know if you have additional questions.

I'm not sure this answered the question about customer data, and I would also like to know what policies are in place for this. Thanks.

    Hi Eric,

Our code is built so that whenever we access a customer's information in the database, we check that the logged-in user requesting the information is the one who "owns" it (which would be you, the storeowner). We never distribute customer information to anyone but the logged in store owner. Does this help answer your question?
