International Shipping and Shipping outside CA
Is there anyway to enable/disable International Shipping? Lets say fro example, I only want to limit shipping to domestic orders only here in the states
Secondly, is there any way to have shipping rules for any orders outside a specific state. So for example: I created shipping rules knowing the usual shipping rates for the state of CA, but if someone from lets say NY orders, is there any shipping rule I can create that for all other states, charge X, Y, Z, etc.
Thirdly, Same thing but for any orders placed outside of the US, charge X, Y, Z.
The shipping rules for Goodsie I feel are too limited. Hopefully there's ways to enable/disable shipping rules for multiple countries/states

Hi Kevin,
1) Not at this time, but we're working on adding this option in the future.
2 & 3) Yes you can create as many rules you like for as many regions as you like. Simply specify this in the title of the shipping rule.

Hi Heather.
I wish what you said about 2&3 were true but its not.
In Big Cartel for example, they have one simple function:
In Goodsie, there is no function like that. Which means yes, I might be able to create a shipping rule for tees/hoodies/electornics whatever category but for region, this cannot be done? I dont see anywhere I can efficiently create shipping rules per location. It would be horrendous to create 196 shipping rules for every country. and then on top another 50 rules for each state.
This would be a ridiculous time consuming option for anyone using Goodsie. Hopefully you guys take into consideration making things easier for customers to apply shipping, as shipping is one of the most crucial parts of your shopping cart system!

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your thoughtful feedback. To simplify your rules by location, you could create East, West, Midwest, and South US rules, and a separate rule for Europe, Asia, and so on rather than a separate rule for each country and state.
Best,
Katie
