ShipStation Shipping Labels
ShipStation is a web-based shipping solution that streamlines the order fulfillment process for online retailers. Goodsie has partnered with ShipStation to help you manage your shipments more efficiently. Linking ShipStation to your Goodsie store is easy, and you'll be able to print shipping labels for Goodsie orders and view tracking and shipping cost information directly in Goodsie. Note that this option is a Premium-only feature.
Setting up ShipStation
Create an account at http://www.shipstation.com. Choose the plan that best fits your needs - if Goodsie is your only online store, you'll probably only need the basic (Bronze) account. If you have other sales channels in addition to Goodsie and you'd like to use ShipStation to manage those as well, you may need a higher-tiered plan.
In Step 4 ("Your Stores") of the ShipStation setup, find and click the Goodsie marketplace in the list. This should open a window that asks for your API Key and API Token.
Open a new browser window or tab, and go to your Goodsie Plugins Settings page. Near the bottom, find the ShipStation section. Copy the ShipStation API Key and paste it into the "API Key" field in the ShipStation window. Go back to Goodsie, copy the ShipStation API Token, and paste it into the "API Token" field in the ShipStation window. Click the "Test Connection" button to make sure the connection is working.
Click "Next" on the ShipStation window and complete the setup process.
Once you've created your ShipStation account and connected it to your Goodsie store, you'll be able to manage shipping for your Goodsie orders. When an order comes in to your Goodsie store, it will show up in ShipStation as "Awaiting Shipment" (this may take a few minutes). From here, you can choose a shipping carrier and print a label. When your order is finally shipped by the carrier, ShipStation will notify Goodsie and you'll see a tracking number and shipping cost on the order's detail page.
