Adding a background image to your storefront is a great way to create complete branding and a cohesive look.

Upload a Background

Go to Design > Background in the Design Panel and click "Upload a Background.” Select the file you'd like touse from your computer. Your image will be added to your image library and selected as the new background for your store.

Background Image Settings

After uploading your image you can select the "options" tab to modify your image settings. Custom backgrounds can be stretched to fill the whole window, tiled to repeat many times, or left as a single image in its original form. Click on the Normal, Tile or Stretch options under the background image library to change your background’s appearance.

If you are using the Normal or Tile mode for your background, you can align the background image to be flush with any side of the window. To do this, click on the arrows under Alignment.

The Attachment options specify whether the image will move when the user navigates down the page (Scroll), or stay in the same place (Fixed).

The maximum recommended dimensions for background images are 1680x1050 pixels.

Page Color Backgrounds

You can change the background of pages or maps by changing the page color. You can do this by going to Colors > Custom and modifying the selection under Pages.

This is a great feature for those that have intricate backgrounds which at times can interfere with legibility behind plain text or location lists.
